The Syco CMD (Ceiling Mounted Dropper)
The Ceiling Mount Dropper was developed to attach directly to an existing structure such as an I Beam, Timber beam or Concrete Ceiling. The advantages of using the CMD include:
- Ease of Installation - Simply drill the required holes and attached with advised fasteners.
- Good Utilization of Space - Does not impend on the ground area when not in use.
- Simple to Ship - The unit is shipped in one box which includes all parts,
- Customizable to your Ceiling Height - The CMD is available off the shelf in 3 standard heights, or they can be made specifically for the height you require.
The CMD has been engineered to spread the load over several points by using stay wires which distribute the sideways forces onto the outer points. The Pivoting Sling which the Syco XT is attached to is suspended by the specifically designed "U" Hook on the bottom of the CMD which limits the wear on this vital component.
Before ordering a CMD you will need to be sure that the structure has sufficient strength to support the Syco XT. The next thing you will need to do is measure the height of the supporting structure from the floor. Use the table below to determine which CMD you require:
